WebI (mom) have been concerned about SSRI activation/black box warning. Pt had intake with mental health group and was diagnosed with DMDD and revealed suicidal ideations. Will start therapy very soon, and has referral to psychiatry. Recommended to have pediatrician start weaning SSRIs in the meantime, and consider antipsychotic like risperidon.
