WebGreenhithe Community Regatta. June 16, 2015 · So why are the Sea Scouts running a Community Regatta? We're doing it for 2 reasons. Firstly to give everyone in our community a chance to get out onto the water. The River Thames is such a key part of Greenhithe's history yet today it's so under used. WebGreenhithe Community Ragatta and Raft Race - Date TBC. Back in 2015 we upgraded our raft race and launched the first Greenhithe Regatta since 1866. This has been a huge sucess so this year we are doing it again.
