WebAfter admissionto the CLS program, students take courses in all the major areas of clinical laboratory science including clinical chemistry, hematology, hemostasis, microbiology, transfusion medicine, and transplantation medicine. Senior students rotate through the clinical laboratories at UNC Hospitals and other laboratories in the state. Webtake at least nine hours of their minor "core" requirements at UNC–Chapel Hill; earn a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.000 in the minor core requirements.
