If i hit the starter it seems like a weak battery but pull the plugs and it turns fine. I have read some post on this same issue so i checked and rest the valves to .004 and .007 and still isnt getting it. WebDec 21, 2015 · 9,100. Most engines should measure over 40 psi of compression. Many engines produce more than 80 psi. If cylinder compression is less than 40 psi, the piston isn't compressing air inside the cylinder.
